Freitag, 26.

Donnerstag, 25. Oktober 2012 – zweiter Tag in Deutschland

Cathedral St. Gallen – the last stop in the Swiss Confederation

The collegiate church St. Gallus and St. Otmar was the last prayer stop in Switzerland. It was a very quiet morning. Here we should say goodbye to the icon together with our German friends Georg Fleischmann and Wolfgang Hering. Not long before 8 o’clock Georg Fleischmann called to tell me they won’t make it to St. Gallen because of a problem with the car. So, at 8 a.m. we Swiss sang a song to welcome Mother Mary in St. Gallen.

Radio Maria, Oberriet, K-TV

Monday, 22. October 2012. Our Lady of Jasna Gora spent the morning in Adliswil in the Chapel of Divine Mercy of Radio Maria. In the sermon pastor Thomas Rellstab talked about the dignity of life and that there are many different ways to harm the dignity of a human being.

In the afternoon, we went to a convent which also asked us if the icon could come to them, however a longer time before the icon was brought on Swiss ground.

Solothurn, Zürich, Rheinau

Sunday, October 21, on the morning we could be guests in the Bishops Cathedral of the greatest diocese in Switzerland, the Cathedral of St. Ursus in Solothurn of the Diocese of Basel. The Icon of Jasna Gora has been warmly welcomed by the celebrating priest canon Paul Rutz. He read the introduction of our leaflet at the beginning of the Holy Mass. Even in the sermon the Icon and the intention of "Her travel" has been clearly mentioned. After the Holy Mass there has been a notable group of praying people on the Rosary.

The icon at Radio Gloria in Baldegg and in the monastery Maria Hilf in Gubel

On Friday morning, 19. October, we had to find our way through thick fog. Finally, we arrived with the icon in Baldegg, Lucerne. In the church of the monastery of the sisters of Baldegg vicar Martin Rohrer celebrated with P. Augustin the holy mass which was broadcasted for the listeners of Radio Gloria, thus many people could be reached who did not have the possibility to come to the icon personally. Without the listeners of the radio we prayed the rosary and had time in silence.

Let the children come to me!

Thursday morning and especially the afternoon were opportunities for children from primary school to come and see the icon.

In the morning at 8:15 there was a holy mass especially for children from sixth grade. Pastor Dr. theol Roland Graf already had explained them earlier about the Our Lady from Czestochova and From Ocean to Ocean. The children were very eager presenting the intercessions. It is great to see that the children still can be won for Christ.

Weesen, Oberurnen

At 4:45 a.m. we left Schmitten (Albula) and drove towards Weesen with the beautiful scenery of the Lake Walen with the mountains around it and red, orange and yellow coloured trees at the shore and on the slopes. The icon has been all day in the church of the Dominican monastery Mary’s Shelter. Here nine sisters live and have arranged a very nice program. Father Martin Camenzind, the spiritual guide of the convent, solemnly celebrated the holy mass at 7 a.m.
